Where are the best opportunities for your business location? Cardinal Geogrpahics can help your business quantify the differences among locations so that you can make informed decisions when it comes to evaluating the best locations for a new site. We can create bands around your locations, and incorporate Census demographic data to estimate various demographics or socioeconomic characteristics about each location. We have US Census data available down to the block group level. Provide us your business location data (i.e. an Excel Spreadsheet), and we can map it!
The first example shows a chain of high end grocers in the greater Los Angeles area. Also shown is the Median Household Income at the census tract level to give one a sense of low and high income areas. Also shown is the aggregated average Median Household Income within a two mile radius of each store. Are there parts of the greater Los Angeles area that appear be underserved or overserved by this particular retailer. Could this alter their development plans of where they may locate new locations?
Alternatively, the second example shows the percentage of population with a college degree, by census tract. This data has also been aggregated by the potential Area of Influence (AOI) of each store (i.e. potential trade area based on a distance proximity to another sore) showing the percentage of population with a college degree within the AOI of each store.
